New Kurdish TV channel begins broadcasting The Kurdistan TV satellite channel, Sterk, who has been under test broadcasting since 2009, began broadcastingfor the first time on Monday. Sterk, means star in Kurdish. The Kurdish satellite channel Sterk TV will broadcast programs that reflect differences, colors and cultural riches of Kurdistan state television channel's management said in a statement. TV channel will also broadcast news in Turkey and worldwide. The channel will broadcast except in Kurdish redoubts kurmanci and Sorani dialects also in Turkish.
